AmLight experience with ONOS as an official project collaborator

For the very first time, AmLight introduced ONOS to the Network Engineering and Operations audience in Latin America at the Brazilian NOG group joint meeting (GTER 43) in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. The title of the presentation in Portuguese is “ONOS: um Sistema Operacional SDN para Provedores de Serviços de Internet” (in English: ONOS: an SDN Operating System to ISPs). Within the 40 minutes slot, the primary goal was to provide an overview of ONOS, its applications, and use cases focused on ISP environments. UNESP Center for Scientific Computing in São Paulo, Brazil introduces Kytos, a new SDN platform, during TNC’17

The Center for Scientific Computing (CSC) team at the São Paulo State University (UNESP) introduced Kytos, its new Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform, during the TNC’17 conference, held in the city of Linz, Austria, from May 29 to June 2. Kytos has been developed by the CSC team, and its main goal is to offer an innovative solution for controlling SDN networks. The platform is 100% open-source and is able to communicate with any switch that supports OpenFlow.
